Job Description: The Production Supervisor/Manager is responsible for all aspects of planning, directing, coordinating work activities and resources for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.  This position also has direct supervision of production workers to include inspectors, machine setters, and operators of assembly/fabrication ensuring manufacturing activities meet all quality standards. Eligibility Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Associate degree or equivalent experience required.

The duties of this position require analytical decision making, solving problems, apply conflict resolution, handle complaints, and communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates in person, by phone, in written form, and email. Ability to guide, direct, and motivate others.  Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships.  Ability to multi-task.

Knowledge of production and processing, administration and management, customer/personal services, human resources and employee relations.  Ability to think critically, monitor and assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvement or take action.  Manage your and others’ time effectively.  Ability to coordinate, listen actively, think critically, and oral expression. Veneer grading and experience with sanders and presses a definite bonus.   Job Salary: $55K - $75K + bonus. Do not let trade partners dictate design or quality standards without approval Ensure work is being done per latest plan and documentation Ensure job signage and rules are displayed appropriately and enforced Ensure protection of new and existing interior finishes, driveways, landscaping, etc. New finishes must be protected within 24 hours of install Thorough weekly inspection of all projects for items needing completion or correction   Eligibility Requirements: Schedule subcontractors and vendors based on critical path timeline as outlined in written 8 week schedule Ensure Trade partners in 8 week schedules are notified of and committed to listed dates Schedule subcontractors 4 weeks in advance with notices at 3 weeks, 2 weeks, 1 week, and 1-2 days prior to starting work Ensure scheduled subcontractors and vendors are on-site as planned Schedule items to be done both essential and non-essential to critical path with trade partners Implement and follow punch out procedure at appropriate time for each project Complete any non-critical path items as soon as possible Schedule QC checklist site review with General Superintendent at appropriate intervals Communicate with architect, designers, and owner throughout the job process Be responsive and available via email, text and phone Update homeowner each Friday of job status Communicate with office staff weekly for both scheduling and financial details Ensure General Superintendent is aware of trade partners neglecting properly communicated schedule, scheduling conflicts or any critical trade issues Utilize all applicable co-construct features in order to properly coordinate with project manager Work with the utmost sense of care and urgency to ensure the highest quality and efficiency standards are met Re-verify with the office, prior to rough-in.
