We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for our rapidly growing Casework & Millwork Division. Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing capital projects ranging from $1M to $5M within the Casework & Millwork industry? Job Description: Custom millwork service provider with over 35 years of expertise in design, integration, and manufacturing of commercial furniture and fixtures seeks a project engineer who is able to create cut lists, bill of materials, create submittal and shop drawings. Our manufacturing is over 100K square feet and we employee over 70. Company utilizes Inventor software and AutoCAD. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with AutoCAD and Inventor software and should be comfortable dealing with change order and redline revisions. Must have a team mentality and be willing to work some overtime to ensure orders are submitted within customers’ timeline. Must have history in architectural or commercial millwork and cabinetry. Shop floor and assembly experience is a plus. NetSuite experience is a plus. This is a full-time in-house position and remote or freelance is not an option. Job Description: Project managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals and vision.
  • Management of the Project Delivery process in line with company and Client’s requirements.
  • Ensures good communication within the Project team (engineering, manufacturing, and logistics).
  • Developing and managing staff, establishing and maintaining a highly motivated and dedicated project management team.
  • Project Planning and progress management in conjunction with the VP of Engineering (including physical progress and Earned Value).

We have been in business since 1963. Our plant size is 175,000 square feet. We are in the process of seeking an Engineer that has 5-10 years’ experience. The individual must have skills to communicate the fabrication and materials required for a particular product using AutoCAD and Microvellum all the while working with the plant to fabricate in the most efficient manner. We are willing to train the right individual in Microvellum. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control to make sure engineering is done on-time and on/under budget.
  • Implement drawing and processing automation in Engineering.
  • Direct material takeoff generation and identify long lead time items to issue requisitions to purchasing.
  • Based on scheduling priorities, work with Project Managers to make sure drawings are done on-time and released to production in time such that manufacturing can work efficiently to meet required delivery dates.
  • Coordinate with Installation crews and field issues.
  • Attend meetings with Project Management and Estimating Departments.
  • Implement drawing and processing automation in Engineering.
  • Evaluate and suggest value engineering changes that do not change the designer’s intent.
  • Individual will report to the engineering manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5-10 years’ experience in managing architectural millwork and fixture projects.
  • We are willing to train.
  • Master of AutoCAD 2020
  • Knowledge of Microvellum (a Plus)6.7 & 7.0
  • Knowledge in Trade Soft Software (Project Pak & Shop Pak)
  • Understanding of CNC & all Machining Processes
  • Microsoft Office Products
  • Shop Experience (a Plus)
  • AWI Construction Methods (a Plus)
  • Samples of ability to produce detailed shop drawings including construction details.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Machinery:
  • 3 CNC Buse lotto’s, 2 CNC Panel Saws, 1 Robot, 1 Edge bander, Complete Mill, Finishing, Assembly Line.
