Job Description: Looking for a motivated experienced Commercial Millwork Project Manager. Analyze job requirements, define scope, determine resource requirements, and establish production schedule and deadlines. Provide detailed project schedules with critical milestones. Communicate directly with contractors, architects, vendors, and subcontractors in a professional manner. Take field measurements if necessary. Prepare and work with others to prepare detailed and comprehensive shop drawings. Work within a team to review job requirements, manage changes in drawings and additions to clearly define path of construction. Eligibility Requirements: Experience with Commercial, institutional, corporate, retail medical facilities, financial institutions, wall panel systems as well as some high-end residential products. Minimum of 5 years’ experience. Location: NY Job Description: Manage new/ongoing construction projects for luxury brands from start to completion. Manage coordination between clients, internal production, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors. Monitor and manage logistics and delivery schedules. Arrange and manage manpower for installations, maintenance, and repairs. Travel to client meetings, site surveys, layouts, punch list walk through, etc. Prepare status reports and updates, both internally and for clients. Provide recommendations for improvements and assessment of all fabrication and installation aspects. -Responsible for archiving drawings, documents, and photos of projects. Assist with organizing tools and preparing job boxes going out for various projects and coordinating delivery of tools. Prepare and negotiate client proposals and maintaining budget. Develop and maintain relationship with clients, design professionals, sub-contractors. Oversee orders of equipment and materials for project needs. Compare invoices to proposals, negotiate rates, and approve payments. Manage multiple jobs at once and meet tight deadlines.   Eligibility Requirements: High End Retail construction experience is a must Bachelor’s degree in architecture or design or equivalent and 2 years of project management experience. Ability to read and understand AutoCAD blueprints and shop drawings. Proficient with MS Office Suite.   Job Salary: $80K base salary Relocation: NY/NJ candidate preferred. They seek a skilled project engineer proficient with AutoCAD, Inventor and knowledgeable in the wood product manufacturing trades. Will do drawings, cut lists and bill of materials. The customer is a family owned company doing over 10 million annually out of a 100K square foot facility with 70 employees. Have been in business for 25 years.
