Job Description: Manage new/ongoing construction projects for luxury brands from start to completion. Assist with organizing tools and preparing job boxes going out for various projects and coordinating delivery of tools. Prepare and negotiate client proposals and maintaining budget. Develop and maintain relationship with clients, design professionals, sub-contractors. Oversee orders of equipment and materials for project needs. Compare invoices to proposals, negotiate rates, and approve payments. Manage multiple jobs at once and meet tight deadlines.   Eligibility Requirements: High End Retail construction experience is a must Bachelor’s degree in architecture or design or equivalent and 2 years of project management experience. Update all drawings per final field measurements including appliance specifications if warranted. • Bills of Materials- Generate accurate and complete bills of materials based on approved shop drawings. Review as necessary with Estimating and/or Purchasing to ensure materials and hardware items are compliant to specifications, material lead times are understood, and project falls within overall budget parameters. • Production Drawings- Generate final machine codes through ACC’s custom software in conjunction with Microvellum work order generation and Cut Rite optimization. We are willing to train the right individual in Microvellum. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control to make sure engineering is done on-time and on/under budget.
  • Implement drawing and processing automation in Engineering.
  • Direct material takeoff generation and identify long lead time items to issue requisitions to purchasing.
  • Based on scheduling priorities, work with Project Managers to make sure drawings are done on-time and released to production in time such that manufacturing can work efficiently to meet required delivery dates.
  • Coordinate with Installation crews and field issues.
  • Attend meetings with Project Management and Estimating Departments.
  • Implement drawing and processing automation in Engineering.
  • Evaluate and suggest value engineering changes that do not change the designer’s intent.
  • Individual will report to the engineering manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5-10 years’ experience in managing architectural millwork and fixture projects.

  • Continuously improve the quality of submittal drawings and establish standards to increase efficiency of submittals, RTCB or RTV.

  • Develop, maintain, & implement a defined schedule & clear process for outsourcing submittals & RTV drawings to insure they are submitted correctly and on time.
  • Maintain a capacity scheduling tool that will identify accurate/data driven capacity constraints and availability in the Engineering and Cut-Bill departments
  • Review all Material Request costs with estimated budgets to ensure departments are cost conscience & a profit center.
  • Manage the departmental annual budget to the realistic targets provided.
  • Implement strategies by identifying early opportunities for screen to machine and/or direct RTS.
  • Work with Operations Team to ensure all manufacturing departments are consistently at 90% capacity.

The Finish Room Supervisor is responsible for supervising finish room employees. The Finish Room Supervisor directly coordinates the activities of production and assures timelines are met in coordination with the production manager.   Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in finishing production.
  • Knowledge of the Cabinet industry, its finish application, and its operation flow.
  • Ability to analyze problems and implement solutions.
  • Knowledge of different wood species and products that may be used.
  • Ability to read and understand plans, blueprints, drawings, and other construction documents.
  • Knowledge of principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Team orientated.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information to make decisions.
  • Ability to develop efficient production procedures with little supervision.
  Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Five years of finishing experience
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends when necessary

Job Description: Developing and implement policy, and procedures performed in the Engineering department. Manage the department to complete assigned tasks on time and maintain outstanding attendance. Eligibility Requirements: Microvellum proficient. Assists in developing and maintaining design and drawing standards and maintaining and updating drawing files. Experience in review of technical work of the department in the engineering of products including Design Engineering, Bill of Material and Router creation and maintenance, specification of materials, procurement of materials, fabrication of prototypes, optimization and programming of products/parts, Cut Lists, Saw Optimizations, and Material release documents. Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to create design drawings from written and verbal instruction. Ability to read and interpret complex drawings. Assist in developing manufacturing routers with times assigned to each process. Develops CNC Machine Code, Creates Production Work Orders, Issue Material release orders and Engineering packages to production. Maintains the Engineering production schedule in the system.
