3021 Estimator Commercial Millwork $65K+ starting annual salary w/annual bonus incentive

Job Description

Responsible for estimating costs, based on time, labor and material forecasts, and preparing written responses to client specifications and requests for proposals for large and/or complex projects in compliance with company policies, capabilities, and standards

Eligibility Requirement

Read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings and specification documents
Generate material take-off lists and costs
Obtain bids from vendors on specialty items
Understand estimating and production as they relate to shop drawings, material yield, and labor
Ability to interpret architectural prints and specs, takeoff information, and any additional information from sales to properly communicate customer expectations to production
Be familiar with cabinet construction and drawing requirements to adhere to the industry’s governing bodies (AWI, QCP, LEED, FSC, etc.)
