Summary:
- Responsible for the overall successful operation of the production floor, ensuring that production targets are met, and that the production process is efficient and sustainable.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the production team: Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and assign tasks to production employees, while guiding and coaching all direct reports.
- Maintain safety: Follow all safety policies and procedures, ensuring and enforcing that the production workspace is safe and clean, and that equipment is used safely and maintained regularly.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that arise during production.
- Communicating: Keep all departments informed of production status.
- Reporting: Prepare production reports on performance and progress as needed.
- Successfully move project work orders through production via the accurate scheduling of labor and resources on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Schedule and engage in project kick-offs and closeouts for seamless handoff to production.
- Organize and create continuous workflow through the production floor, utilizing Innergy to optimize workflow.
- Supervise shipping & receiving on production floor.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, general shop and vehicle up-keep, including the purchase of needed tools and tooling.
- Schedule and conduct monthly safety training.
- Review, edit, and approve production employee timesheets.
- Support estimating in development of required hours for projects/operations.
- Manage and supervise all remote warehouses.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Improvement of manufacturing processes, utilizing lean processes when necessary.
- Communicate and coordinate with project coordinator, project managers, and engineers to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
- Collaborate with HR to determine and communicate wage increases.

Education & Experience
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, or equivalent
- Management certification or adequate firsthand experience
- Minimum five years’ experience in production supervisory role.
- Knowledge of the design of furniture/fixtures and architectural millwork from previous work
- Proficiency in reading architectural
- Strong computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
Physical Demands
- Working at desk and on feet on a regular basis as needs throughout locations arise.
- Able to physically perform routine maintenance checks.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 75 pounds.
Work Environment
- Occasional exposure to woodworking shop odors and noises.
- Occasional exposure to hazardous materials.
- Occasional exposure to hazards on the production floor.
