Job Description:
The Millwork Engineer is responsible for the direction and oversight of the drafting department’s
completion of accurate, buildable shop drawings. Candidates will be expected to kick off the drafting process by reviewing and redlining architectural and interior design intent drawings, and in this, determining if a drawing is ready for drafting or if RFIs must be resolved with the project management team prior to drafting release.
Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates will be responsible for redlining until the drawing is ready for release to the shop floor.
A Millwork Engineer is not expected to do any drafting, but a previous work history in drafting and/or building is essential to fulfilling the responsibilities of this position. Knowledge of AWIQCP standards is highly preferred, but not required. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot and provide details for complex millwork assemblies.
Job Salary:
$110K to $115K (pending experience)
