Microvellum Engineer Custom/Commercial Cabinetry Mfg. $85-$104K starting salary commensurate w/benefits
We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has expertise in Microvellum and cabinetry construction.
Responsibilities:
• Design and Drafting:
• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Microvellum
• Develop nest drawings for CNC operations from approved shop drawings.
• Optimize designs for production, ensuring efficient use of materials and machinery.
• Engineering:
• Generate submittal drawings for client approval.
• Test the validity of millwork designs and make necessary adjustments.
• Create programs for CNC machines, including single-part and nesting-based operations.
• Project Management:
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure designs meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Purchase accuracy on project specific materials
• Communicate with team members to understand their needs and provide technical support.
Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microvellum
• Experience with CNC programming and operations.
• Knowledge of comformat cabinet construction and materials.
• Experience:
• Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in commercial millwork and cabinetry is often preferred.
• Familiar with vendors and products within the woodworking industry
• Soft Skills:
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85K – $104K annual salary commensurate
