Seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and serve as the planned successor to the Operations Manager role. Our current Operations Manager is expected to retire in approximately 18 months.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

      Lead day-to-day plant operations, including production, receiving, distribution, material handling, maintenance coordination, safety, quality, and workflow execution.

      Translate company goals into clear plant-level and departmental goals, communicate them effectively across all levels of the operations team, and incorporate accountability into each step of the process.

      Direct and improve material flow so assembly components, supplies, and finished goods move through receiving, staging, production, packaging, and distribution in the correct quantity and quality at the right time.

Reporting Requirements

      Real-time shop floor completion reporting in JPI

      Plant KPI reports, including productivity, schedule performance, quality, safety, value produced, and value shipped

      OSHA 300 log and incident reports

      SDS books

      Equipment maintenance logs and maintenance follow-up reports

      Performance reviews and leadership development notes for direct reports

      Personnel demand forecasts, staffing needs, and overtime requirements as needed

      Daily shop floor completion report

      Weekly and bi-weekly timecard approvals, with daily review support from leads

      Weekly value produced and value shipped reports

Salary is commensurate to experience.
