The Lead Engineer is the on-site technical lead responsible for the day-to-day execution, coordination, and technical oversight of on-staff and remote engineering team members. While the engineering team maintains its own people manager, the Lead Engineer serves as the primary technical authority, day-to-day coordinator, and schedule driver—answering all technical questions, guiding priorities, and ensuring engineering outputs are accurate, complete, and released on time to support production, procurement, and operations.
This role blends hands-on engineering execution with leadership responsibilities across design, release, and process engineering. The Lead Engineer acts as the critical liaison between remote engineering resources and U.S.-based operations, ensuring designs are manufacturable, cost-aligned, and production-ready.

Qualifications & Experience
– 5+ years in manufacturing engineering
– Cabinetry, millwork, or furniture background
Technical Skills
– 2D/3D cabinet and furniture design
– SolidWorks
– CNC workflows including CutRite and WoodWOP
– Proficiency in sWood a bonus
